Electrical Engineer – Renewable Energy Projects (Solar, BESS, Wind)
NRG+ is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Electrical Engineer to support the development and execution of renewable energy
projects across solar PV, BESS and wind.
The selected candidate will be involved in both definitive design for permitting purposes and detailed engineering for construction,
contributing to projects from development through Ready-to-Build and execution phases.
This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while working within an international and highly collaborative technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of definitive electrical design documentation for authorization procedures
- Development of executive electrical design for construction phase
- Design of MV/HV systems, substations and grid interconnections
- Preparation of single-line diagrams, electrical layouts and technical reports
- Coordination with grid operators and compliance with grid codes
- Support during permitting procedures and technical authority interactions
- Technical coordination with internal engineering teams and external consultants
- Assistance during procurement and construction phases, when required
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy projects (solar PV, BESS and/or wind)
- Proven experience in definitive design for permitting and executive design for construction
- Strong knowledge of MV/HV systems and grid connection requirements
- Familiarity with international technical standards and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Spanish is considered a plus
